Airbag Injuries
Wednesday, December 30, 2009
Airbags are thought to be an important defense against serious injury or death in a car accident. However, an investigation into the facts has found airbags often fail, leaving victims seriously and often fatally injured.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has done little to protect consumers from the threat of airbag failure. Airbag failures are responsible for hundreds of fatalities annually, yet little is being done to correct the problem.
The investigation found over fifteen hundred people have died as a result of front-impact car accidents after airbags failed to deploy, but the investigators feel the actual number is closer to four thousand deaths when all possible accident scenarios are included in the equation. Another aspect of airbag deployment injuries is that they can inflict serious injuries when they deploy unexpectedly not during an accident or after a minor fender-bender.
The most recent airbag recall was announced by the Honda Motor Company for nearly five-hundred thousand vehicles that could contain a dangerous and deadly airbag defect which has recently resulted in six injuries and one fatality.
If you have been the victim of a defective airbag injury, please contact Stipe Injury Law in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma today to schedule a consultation with an experienced defective airbag attorney to learn about how to protect your legal rights and get the financial compensation you deserve.

Gardasil
Thursday, December 10, 2009
Gardasil is a vaccine manufactured by Merck & Company and licensed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for girls and women nine to twenty-six years of age for the prevention of cervical cancer.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has recommended that three doses of Gardasil for universal use in girls eleven to twelve years of age be routinely administered by pediatricians, obstetrician/gynecologists and family physicians.
Since the middle of 2009, more than twenty-five million doses of Gardasil have been distributed across the United States with over fourteen-thousand reports of adverse side effects. Some commonly reported side effects include, fainting, blood clots, seizures, paralysis, extreme fatigue, hair loss, pelvic and stomach pain and even death.
There have been forty-three Gardasil-related deaths and pregnant women who have taken Gardasil have experienced fetal abnormalities and spontaneous abortions.
The pharmaceutical manufacturer is legally responsible for ensuring the delivery of a safe product to the consumer. The failure to do so is negligence and grounds for personal injury lawsuits.
If you or someone you love has been injured by the administration of the Gardasil vaccine, please contact Stipe Injury Law today at their Oklahoma City, Oklahoma office to schedule a confidential consultation at no cost to you to learn how to protect your legal rights and get the financial compensation you deserve for your pain and suffering.
